 Tips & Tricks

Below you will find tips and tricks for keeping a long lasting bar of soap, it's many uses, and fun facts.

Do you have a fun tip?  Send me a message, I'll be glad to add it to my page.

1. Keep your soap dry.

Use a well draining soap dish.  For a hard bar of soap that will last and last, you must keep it dry.  It's also much nicer to use than a mushy mess.

2. Use it for shampoo or shaving.

Many of our soaps provide a lush rich lather that allows enough bubbles for shampoo. Give it a try!  Many find that limp hair suddenly has volume, making your hair more manageable.  When you hair is clean, try it for your shaving needs - or at least when you're out of shaving cream!

3. Be mindful of essential oils.

Essential oils are wonderful natural scents that also provide many health benefits. However with peppermint essential oil, for example, you should use caution on sensitive areas.

4. Cut cupcake soaps.

5. Use it.

Cupcake soaps are pleasing to the eye, but are an awkward shape when it comes to handling in the tub.  For ease of use, cut your cupcake right down the middle, virtically. This provides a nice smoothe edge for washing. Plus, now you have two!

Because our products are handmade with natural ingredients, they are best if used within 6 months of purchase.  Over time, scents and colors begin to fade and your soap will be less enjoyable.  They are not decorations... enjoy them!  I will make more, I promise.
